Where's the best surgeon for RNY in Buffalo area?

I'm trying to help my friend find a surgeon in the Buffalo area to perform the RNY for her.  Can anyone recommend anyone specific?  Thanks. Sara

Does he take Canadian patients? Does his practice (Synergy Bariatrics) accept OHIP for payment?

Joan is right -- Dr Caruana (Synergy Bariatrics) is the one to go to. Their program is very comprehensive. The hospital he works out of is a Bariatric Center of Excellence. There are very active support groups. And he is a gifted surgeon who does bariatric surgery exclusively, as well as being kind and caring. I don't know about Canadian patients, but check it out.
