Typical Reaction to Actigall?

lately, I have found myself throwing up anything in my system shortly after taking actigall.

Should I be taking actigall BEFORE meals?

Is it common to any of "ya'll?"

Do you think it could be an allergic reaction?

I will ask Singh on Tues at my scheduled appt.

It may not have anything to do with Actigall. You should touch base with Dr Singh asap if you are throwing up with that kind of regularity.

Take care

Tim, Without a doubt, I would contact my surgeon about this. I have never heard of someone throwing up from Actigall, but anything is possible. Don't take any chances, especially with all the problems you have been having. Take Care, Lisa

Tim, Throwing up everything could be a stricture, or a reaction to the actigal if it only happens after you take it.  My 7 year has been on it for 7 years.  She takes the 325 mg caps twice daily now and never threw up.  she takes one in the am and one before bed.  she takes it w/o a gal bladder tho.  good luck at your appt!

Tim, I never threw up from it but for the first few days after I started taking it I was nauseaus. If I remember correctly the "warning" sheet that came with it from CVS said it might do that. Better to be on the safe side & just call the office to make sure.  Good luck!! Cece

First of all ACTIGALL is a HUGE capsule (if I remember correctly) could be the size that is blocking thisngs. I am not sure but calling the pharmacist maybe you can open it and place contents in food (yogurt etc)...

Secondly it is harsh on pouch read below!

Thirdly my info states: doses taken with food.
