searching for a lapband surgeon in Buffalo
I am currently going to the Kaleida Comprehensive Weight Loss Clinic. There are 3 very good surgeons there. I am going through all the testing right now and hope to possibly get a date next month!

I have gone to Synergy Bariatrics in Williamsville (suburb of Buffalo) and had a positive experience. I have come to know many happy patients through the support groups there. I had open RNY with Dr. Caruana, but he now has an experienced associate who does lapband. I'm sorry -- I don't remember the new doc's name.
You should check them out.

I am currently going through the application process for both Synergy and CWLC.
Can you tell me how long it took to see a surgeon after all of the paperwork was turned in.
I heard it is an 8-9 month weight for CWLC. Is this true?
Also I am at a BMI of 35 with comorbidities. I am nervous about even losing a pound and not being able to get approval.
Are you weighed in clothes or a gown? I need every ounce.
at cwlc after they review your application u get set up for the seminar and your first appt. it took me awhile as i delayed it because i was starting a new job. they weigh you with your clothes on. it does take a while to get in, but if you get stuff done ahead of time, it goes by quicker. like i would get my psych eval done and sleep study doen if you can ahead of time. for me it was worth the wait
