Surgery tomorrow.

Hi all. Tomorrow I am going in for a laparoscopy to have an internal hernia repaired. I am a little nervous because I had so many complications after my RNY. I actually was not able to return to work for 2 months!! I am praying that everything goes smoothly and that the recovery is quick and simple. I just wanted to share with all my friends here at OH. I know you can all understand how I feel. Hugs, Lisa

You know you have tons of prayers and good vibes going your way. Your apprehension is understandable. But you also know that you are so much healthier now and your body has amazing healing abilities. Plus, you are going to feel much better after the repair.

Thank you all for your good wishes. I am getting ready to go to the hospital now. I have to be there at 8:00am. My shower felt like dejavu because I had to wash my abdomen with Hibiclens just like I did the morning of my RNY. I will have my sister (Karen I) post an update when the surgery is over. If all goes well, I should be home this evening. Hugs, Lisa
