Rollercoaster goal?

Does anyone else have a goal to ride a rollercoaster?  I love rollercoasters but the last time I road a rollercoaster I had to get off the ride because I didn't fit in the seat.  It was very humiliating and I was embarrassed for my teenage boys.  The Millennium rollercoaster was at Cedar Point Amusement Park (OH) and I plan to go back next summer and ride it.  I'd love to hear from anyone who loves rollercoasters who wants to share their favorite one and where it is.  I may just make a long-term goal to go to the best rollercoasters in the U.S.!

I don't know about riding a roller coaster but I'm skydiving in August!!!  Woo Hoo!!!!

I have always been a roller coaster person.  When i was at m y heaviest i could still ride the rollercoasters however i was so stuffed into the seats most of the time i couldnt enjoy it and othe other times i threw up right after because i ate like a pig before.   After my surgery and when i hit goal i went to the usual spot we have season passes, six flags and when they strapped me in for the first time....i was scared.   There was too much room in between the harness and myself first of all, and i guess loosing the weight actually made me look even shorter then i already did im 4 11 and they made me get measured lolololol....... I am so happy for you and cant wait til you post your experience when you get to that roller coaster ride, which you will.... The best roller coaster i have ever been on and i have been on many is Kingda Ka without a doubt.  It was the most amazing ride, It is in Six Flags Great Adventrue Jackson NJ......  Best of luck to you...

Thanks, LisaMarie.  I remember when I was thin and I felt I might fall out.  You must have been so pleased when they had to measure you even if it was your height.  I remember being scared of one ride because the maximum weight was 250.  I wasn't 250 but I remember thinking, "how do they know it's 250 and not 230 or 275?"  I stayed away from that ride. Carol what a great goal!!! I am sure you will accompli**** without a problem. My husband and myself went to Kings Dominion when my eldest son was a baby. I could not go on because I had to stay with my son. Jim went on  THE VOLCANO and he said it was the best he has been on.You start the ride by shooting out a volcano.Kings Dominion is in Virginia, look it up online. Michelle

I love rollercoasters!!! I am not a big fan of going upside down but I am so there on all other coasters!!! My sister is excited because once I can ride them she'll have someone to go with her!! I am just looking forward to being able to get on all of the rides!!!! Cece

The Travel Channel (I think) often has on a show of the top 10 roller coasters in the country.  Maybe we should have a WLS roller coaster riding support group!
