So very excited
Good morning everyone! I do not get a chance to post as often as I would like but wanted to take the few minutes this morning to share that I have completed the process with my surgeon. Yesterday I had my Post-Intake appt with Dr.Cole and he said he would be writing he letter of referral up after our appt since he had a break in between appts and they could send it out in yesterdays mail.... because my chart is complete! He has all he needs from me to send it to my insurance company. Then he went on to say that my particular insurance company typically has a rapid turnaround time and I should have a date set by the end of next week for surgery! It took me a few moments to process it all.. that I had really come this far.. YAY!! Then we talked about how he performs his surgeries on Tuesdays and Fridays and risks and complications and so on. Now it is just waiting.... but when he asked me if I had the papers for him to fill out for work, it was soooo real to me. I went back to work and faxed them to him! So--- thats my joy to get me thru the next few days!
I remember when I got the news that I was all set to go; it was so unreal. Now, three weeks after surgery, I have to pinch myself once in a while to believe it's true. Let us know your date when you get it.
