Hi everyone,

I am finally getting my surgery. I had to reschedule in March because I had the Flu. I am feeling so excitied but also scared. My surgeon is Dr. Brathwait. I love him and know I am in good hands but my nerves are still acting up a bit.

Congrats!!!!   The nerves are normal everyone has them. You will do fine. The first couple days are the roughest and it gets easier from there on soon you be a LOSER (in a good way)

The longest of Journeys start with a single step
(90 lost pre-surgery)

Jeanette,it is normal to be nervous I was nervous too.I am now two weeks post op and I wish I had done it a long time ago.You have so many things to look forward too and before you know it the hardest part will be over ( the surgery and the fear of the unknown). For me surgery was like falling asleep, then waking up with dry mouth in the PACU.That was my biggest complaint. I often ask myself why was I so nervous pre op.Soon you can start to live healthy and feel good about yourself..Michelle
