I've got that "full Feeling" For the First Time In My Life!!

My whole life, I have never sensed that "full"/"content" feeling when eating. However, since the operation, I have! At first I thought it was "coming back up"...but it is actually the "I am sufficed" feeling. Although it is rather weird to my body...foreign actually...I am learning to just take some slow deep breaths....and to stand up...and to throw whatever is on my plate, bowl, spoon, fork etc away. It is funny, because I know what was on my plate was not a lot to begin with. The voice of my mom comes into my head "there are kids in china starving for what you are throwing away".....to which I retort "fine...mail it to them" Seriously though, today has got to be one of the best days i have felt in a LONG time. I actually got a good nights rest, and everything is functional...as of this post. Anywho, I am thinking of a tuna salad for supper....or...maybe some yougart...hmmmm

Amazing, isn't it?? I'm happy for you ... I know you had to go through so much to get to this point, but you really must have that "it was so worth it" feeling now. Yeah!!!!

I wake up in the morning and dont even want to eat. Ive been drinking a Zoic for breakfast. Having a cheese stick for lunch and some refried beans for dinner with a lil melted cheese and non fat sour cream.  Its a strange feeling to eat cuz you have to and not have the urge to eat at all. The days of housing a pizza and wings are over and I dont even care. Im happy with my Power Ade Zero and random tiny meals.

Isn't it amazing...I was the same way...first time I knew I was full..I was also lucky because my appetite was very suppressed at first.  I'm glad you are feeling better...it only gets better from now on! Rosemary

Tim, Congrats!! Isn't it a fabulous feeling?!!! I was surprised at how little I have to eat to get that feeling!! I have a good friend who teases me all the time about only being able to a peanut & then being full!! (It's an inside joke but he's not too far off!! )  I did eat to fullness in the past - god knows I did & the amounts of food it took to get there were just obscene!! I can't believe what I ate before - drive thrus were my favorite things - I hated cooking for one... it was depressing but now, hell I cook every day & never give it a second thought!! This whole journey is amazing!!  Keep up the great work!! You have come so far in such a short period of time!!! Cece
