actigall

Does anyone know how long we are supposed to take this?

I think it is the rest of your life...or until your gallbladder is removed...or until the prescription runs out....

My surgeon has me on actigall and told me that I have to stay on for one year. I also have to take and stay on Nexuim for one year.  Hope this helps.

1 year for the actigall and nexium for me , but I kind of "haggled" with my surgeon and I can go off the actigall at 9 months post-op

Have to ask your surgeon what they want.  They all have their own post op plan....

I still have my gall bladder & because of that they told me 6 months. They just took me off of it... and I got to stop the nexium (with 2 weeks of pills left in the bottle). They said I'd know in a few weeks if I needed that nexium any more!! Definitely check with your Dr. All of that info should be in your packet - ours was. Cece
