I know I am crazy
I just had my surgery last wednesday but I ventured out and went to the movies today with my husband. I just couldn't turn down the $2 movie at Colonie Center. All went well I had him drop me at the curb to avoid the walk from wherever we had to park. I felt well and that I was strong enough. I was somewhat tired when I got home but I even managed dinner. After thinking about it I better slow down, how often in your life do you have people around to do everything for you. Also I don't want to pu**** and end up having issues. Hope everyone is doing well.
hey i felt totally fine 3 days after my surgery everyone is different, i dont see that it would be harmful to sit and watch a movie, however sitting for long periods does increase risk of clots so keep that in mind just my opinion
The longest of Journeys start with a single step
(90 lost pre-surgery)
That's great that you were able to get out. I completely forgot about that deal at Colonie Center. I totally agree take advantage of the help while its available and let yourself heal. Use your energy like you did today for pleasurable, relaxing time. I think getting back to a somewhat of a real life helps to make the surgery seem so harsh this early out when the changes are the hardest.
Will you be going to the support group Thursday?

I had my surgery on april 30th wich was a wedensday got into my room around 11pm was gone noon on saturday and went to my flag football game on Sunday morning. I am coaching right now cuz I cant play and I can say that it was good to be outside. I get excited when it comes to football and was continously being told to calm down cuz i was getting riled up.
