ulcer

I had been having a pain in my stomach area--right above the belly button a few inches. It started Sunday afternoon. Well I called my doctor and he scheduled me for an endoscopy yesterday. I went and I have an ulcer. So I was taken off my Prilosec and put on Nexium and Zantac. I hope that starts working soon. As of yesterday the last time I had ate was Monday morning and that was only about 1/2 cup of cereal. I wasn't able to eat or drink for about 3 days. The funny thing was I didn't even feel hungry. I am glad I got the problem figured out.  Christine

Christine, It's a good thing you got this taken care of before it got more serious. Hopefully the medication will work quickly and you will be feeling better soon. I'll be thinking about you. Hugs, Lisa
