sugar gram amount?
You want to use as little sugar as possible.
You will know if it is way too much
After my surgery, our surgeons restricted us to under 10 grams but I got sick on something only 4 grams. Everyone's system is different. Be careful though. You don't want to get used to the sugar to the point where you can tolerate it and control it.
Sugar is recommended in our program to be avoided year 1 atl east, keeping a serving of anything in single digits (below 10 grams)

My surgeon reccomends 5 or less grams of sugar per serving. Fudge seems like a bad choice to me...way too much sugar. I have "no sugar added" hot cocoa (6gr sugar per serving) when I have that head hunger that just screams chocolate and it won't go away. Hey! And it's a liquid, perfect. Sometimes you just need to say no, but once you've gotten really sick from sugar you'll think long and hard about doing it again. With me it was a tall glass of Pink Lemonade...I wasn't using my head and wasn't even thinking about how much sugar was in it. I was sick for about 2 hours afterward and I was out with friends for a fun day...needless to say it was no fun. Good luck to you.
