I am sorry I missed the support group last night...my daughter was so mad that I wasnt going to be at her softball game....anywho I am dizzy all the time.  Evelyn at Dr Clarks office really had no answer for me.  My bp there was 151/82, its ALWAYS high there and they wouldnt do it manually, and today 118/80 while working.  I dont know if its my bs or bp...or could there be something else wrong.  Im gonna get an appt w/my pcp, but any suggestions are welcome...i am 4 weeks out.  Also what r some signs of uti/bladder infection???

Kristy, Ann is the only one willing to do it manually - I hate that machine Chris uses... it's always high!!! Absolutley get yourself to your pcp on the double!!! I was having that issue around the same time out as you & it turned out to be my bp meds - sucked the potassium right out of me!! My levels were dangerously low!!! (My bp med had a diurteic in it). It could be several things but it's definitely not something to mess around with!! Good luck & let me know how you make out!! Cece

Dehydration is possible but I assume your doctor would've detected it. I had dizziness [upon rising] the first year out.  I was finally told it was due to fluid shifting around in my ear.  The surgery can change tons of different things in the body (e.g. you can have sleep trouble due to new sounds from your stomach affecting your brain).  Perhaps it's this?

I am having the same troubles!  I do know that my bp is on the low side, and my dr said that upping my fluids will help.  Have you had your vits and mins levels checked?  I also have low vitamin D levels which may contribute.  I also have trouble sleeping!!  Strange huh?

Kristy,

Sorry to hear that you are so dizzy.  Before your surgery, what was a normal blood pressure for you.  If 118 is quite a bit lower than what you are used to you might feel dizzy, even though your blood pressure is not technically low.

Your blood sugar could be on the low side.  Do you have a friend that has a glucose meter and you could check it?  although I would think the dizziness should get better within an hour or so of eating.

Could you have something going on with your ears, fluid in the ear can make you dizzy.

Jamie's comment about dehydration also could be a cause, I know several people have mentioned that not drinking enough is one reason for stalls.

Most people with a UTI have to urinate very frequently, will complain of burning with urination. fever, chills, cloudy urine.  Not too many people can tolerate a UTI for very long.

Your idea to see your PCP, is a very good idea.  You should not be feeling dizzy like this.

Hope you are back to yourself quickly
