Psych Eval..

Is  done!!!  He said he recommended me for surgery.    Although he said I had characteristics of someone with Social Anxiety and high recommended I seek treatment for it???  HUH??  Sure I've always been the quite person.. the one that rather listen than talk.    When I was growing up that was just called being shy..  When did that become Social Anxiety??  So now it's just a waiting time.   My surgeon said to give him a week or so after he receives the nut and psych evals.  His office would call to set up an appointment to come in and talk about a surgery date.   Who knows in the next 2 weeks or so I could have a surgery date!!   Woohoo  :)

I am so happy that things went so well.  I am no psychologist (they told me I wasn't crazy, so I could never be a mental health professional), but you see fairly outgoing here on the forum.

Candi, Congrats on getting past that hurdle!! It seems to be one that pre-ops dread the most!! Don't worry about what he said maybe he what he sees will diminsh as you shed the weight!! Who knows? Just focus on the next steps of the journey & before you know it you'll be the healthy new you!!! Candi, I agree with Cece, once you start losing weight, I'm sure your "condition" will improve.  I am a whole different person since I lost the weight...I am actually giddy....:o) Rosemary
