Amy salmon lovers/experts out there? (xpost)
I am in need of a salmon primer!! Pre-op, if I were out & someone ordered salmon I would try a bite but could never find any I liked. Now, after having been in San Fran for a week, I have found a salmon dish that I loved. I was hoping that maybe my tastes had changed post-op but someone mentioned to me there is a difference between Atlantic & Pacific salmon! I liked the one I had in San Fran - it wasn't too pink & not fishy tasting at all... it was grilled (from Neptunes on Pier 39)! So here's the deal - I want to try it again but I am a little reluctant to buy it at a restaurant in case I hate it! Ya know what I mean??? Any ideas??
