Hi Amy,

I'm doing well. Me and Chris had our Civil Union in March and then went on our "honeymoon" cruise.

I'm feeling terrific. I'm down 89 lbs. with about 18 left to go before I reasses my goals. That will bring me to 150 and probably a size 8. I think that will be good for me at 5'5".

My surgeon thinks I'm losing too slowly, but I'm glad to continue to lose even if it is only 1 lbs. a week.

Rachelle! That is outstanding! I agree with you on the rate of weight loss, especially considering what your body and heart have been through over the past couple of years. You go girl! What a long way you've come.

Congrats to you and Chris on your union. You are two lucky women to have found each other.

Congrats Amy ,it has been a very exciting 2 years for you! I can only hope that I do as well as you did. Facing all those challenges ,good and bad, will just make you a stronger person.Sounds like you have plenty of reasons to celebrate your 2nd birthday. I will think of you on May 2nd during one of my post op walks around the unit  at Ellis . Jim already told you my surg. is Friday May 2nd, so we will have the same rebirthday.HAPPY BIRTHDAY michelle
