Questions to ask the doc
I would ask for the name of the doctor who will assist during surgery so that I could make sure they were covered under my insurance plan. The Dr. that my surgeon used was not covered by my insurance 
and I'm waiting for his payment from the ins. company so that I can forward it and hoping I don't have to pay any more.
Some might think it's silly, but when you get a bill for $22,500, thats no joke.

Deedums Hi I'm going through the process right now for the lapband. Thank you for posting this because I had no idea to ask this question. My insurance is HIP and Dr. Cussatti is the only surgeon covered on my plan. I haven't seen Dr. Cussatti yet because I am still doing all the pre-op but I am going to call and ask his office this question. Not Silly at all thank you!! Lisa
