Hi All!  I am headed for 3 weeks out, and feeling GREAT!  At my one week visit I went from 292 to 265...but havent lost a single lb in over a week!  Very frustruating!  Anyways everything is staying down.  I did have a problem with the calcium w/D...so I cut it in half and it got stuck.  VERY SCAREY!  I puked...it hurt.  I am never ever taking it again, but the only other chewable calcium I could find was the smooth chews from citracal... something like that.  Can I take those?  I did today, but I wanted your opinions!  What do you all take?  Gosh, after that episode I feel bad for people like my mom where everything gets stuck.  That hurt sooooo bad.  I go for my 1 month on 5/5.  It is flying by so fast!!!  Thanks for all your support!!!

Kristy... You  missed the huge sign hanging on Chris and Evelyn's walls .. CITRICAL is a NO-NO... You need ONLY calcium citrate.. Unfortunately, I'm not able to find a chewable form in any of the pharmacies around here... I order mine from Bariatric Eating. I personally use the Calcium Citrate Lozengers.. Wild Cherry.. I received a free sample of the cinnamon and didn't like that one as much.. Here's the link.. http://www.bariatriceating.com/chcacilo.html They also have a chewable in the Building Blocks brand. These come in orange (which I had a sample of as well and these were not bad)..  Here's the link to that one... http://www.bariatriceating.com/bublcachch60.html Good Luck !!! and Remember Calcium Citrate ONLY !!!!!!!!!! for those of us Dr. Clarke patients.

Just to clarify CITRICAL is calcium citrate (the chews) and is FONE to take although personally I like Upcal D cheaper!

Hi Kristy--I just switched to the Upcal D and it's just as good as everyone said it would be.  I usually just scoop it right onto my tongue! I have no problem w/pills, but for some reason the Citrical (even the petites) are hard for me to take.   Sounds like you're doing really well--for some reason a lot of people, including me, stall @ 3 weeks.  Don't worry, it will pass! hugs,

Kristy, OMG - you are doing really great!! I am so proud of you!!! Keep it up!!! All I cn add is that calcium citrate is what you need to take. I bought a bunch of the citracal creamy chews from drugstore.com & now they are hard to find. But as long as it's citrate you should be ok.

Keep up the great work!!
