5-months post-op

Today I am 5 month post-op. So far I have lost 60 pounds since the surgery and 16 pre-op. I have so much energy. The weather is beautiful out and I am on vacation from work and I have been outside doing yard work everyday. Well except for the other day when I was on the couch with that horrible cold. I feel so great. I never would have imagined that I could feel this way. I feel better than I did when I was 20. I haven't been at this weight since I graduated from high school 18 years ago. My whole attitude towards life has changed. I see things so much different now. People have noticed that as well as the physical changes.  Christine

Christine, Congrats on your 5 month surgiversary!! I will hit 6 months this coming Tuesday!! How awesome is all of this??? You have done a great job!! Keep it up... it only gets better!!! Cece

You and I are close in time... I had my surgery on 11/8/08!! you are doing great!! congratulations!! isnt it nice to finally be able to get outside!! its been a long winter!!  we are kind of like butterflies blooming this spring!! my neighbor just noticed me for the first time yesterday and almost did not recognize me!! now that I have shed the heavy winter coat i look different!!   Congratulations on your success!!  Sky
