Anyone have their surgery at Beth Israel?

I will be having the surgery there. And not being from the area can anyone tell me their experience or even anyone knowing about the hospital or the area I'd be grateful

Who is your surgeon?  If it is Dr. Leitman he is great.  Although, I didn't have my surgery there.  I know the hospital very well, because my mother was a head and staff nurse there and my sister and were born there also.  It is wonderful hospital and you will be in very good hands.

My surgeon is Dr. Goodman...hear anything about him?....I am from Ontario, so it all is dependant on my health care system to determine if they"ll pay for it. Then  I will be going there for the surgery. What's the area like?. What hotels are within walking distance from there?

I have heard the name, but I don't know much about him.  The area around the hospital is very nice. It has a lot of apartment buildings and shops.  I don't know of any hotels in the area.
