"Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect, it just means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections!"
Tim,
Everyone is different, so it is hard to say how you will feel. When I had mine, I woke up quickly and was home about 30 minutes later. I felt wide awake all afternoon long and then when I went to be I slept real well that night, obviously the medications were still in my system and I ended up sleeping much later that I can usually sleep in on a Sat.
Please do not drive to the funeral and maybe have a backup if you do not feel up to it.
Best of luck
Jim
Hi Tim, Everyone reacts differently--I've had endoscopies where i feel like going to work afterwards and some where I go gome and sleep the rest of the day. As long as you have someone drive you home from the procedure (it's required anyway) and have someone drive you to the funeral, you should be fine. I would definately write down your remarks--just in case you're a little loopy, you don't want to go off on some tangent about the dearly departed.
take care.
