I'm Home ...

Dear Friends,  had my surgery Tuesday morning and was able to come home today!  Yeah ... I don't think I could have stayed in the hospital another day ... everytime you get to sleep, they come and wake you up.  Anyway, things went well.  I feel really tired and a little overwhelmed at trying to drink everything.   Even though I'm tired, I am not really able to sleep well yet.  Hopefully, tonight will be better.  Thank you ALL for your good wishes, good vibes, prayers, support -- EVERYTHING.  It all meant more to me than you know.  Thanks again to Anne -- a great angel!   Love and Hugs to all--  Maria

Hello hun, Glad to hear all went well and you are feeling ok  It will get better and better each day, remember to give yourself time to heal. These are some major changes in our lives and bodies so it takes time to adjust. Sleeping took a while for me, I was trying to sleep in the recliner and did not do very well but could not lay flat for a while.

I wish you all the best and keep us posted! ~HUGS~

Maria, Congratulations!!! I am so excited for you! Sleeping is difficult for a while after you get home from the hospital. Mostly because it is very hard to get confortable lying down. Try to get as much rest as possible and don't forget to keep sipping tha****er. Keep us up to date on your recovery! Welcome to the loser's bench! Hugs, Lisa

Thank you for all for your wonderfully supportive posts.   I'm doing well.  Moving around pretty well, etc.  Have had some moments of being anxious -- trying to drink all the water, etc. in the amounted time, etc.  But I've been told by many of you that these things all work themselves out.   I'm also trying to get my CPAP pressure lowered -- it's too strong now, making me cough and burp.  They lowered the pressure on the hospital machine I was using, but here at home, it is still too high.  Hope to have that rectified today. Thank you all -- Maria
