I lost someone...

Awww, thanks Rosemary!!! It is pretty amazing, isn't it? I lost 2.5 more lbs since Monday!! I was shocked!!! I don't normally get on the scale more than once a week but it was in my way this morning so I said what the heck!!! Who knew this was going to happen to me?!!! I have had such great support - I couldn't have come this far without it!! Thank you!!!   Cece

Thanks Debra!!! I can't believe it was a year ago that I decided to take the plunge!!! Best decision ever!!!! It feels incredible!!! I am noticing new things every day... today I noticed just how much my forearms have changed!! It felt like I was looking at someone elses arms!!! (o****il I saw my bat wings - UGH!!! )  All I can do is pray to god they don't too much worse between now & the time I reach goal... I am Italian & really do talk with my hands... I could fly away!!! I am so glad to hear about how far you come!  You must be so excited.  I am also very glad that you did not loose you sense of humor with the weight!

Jim, Thanks!!! I am both proud & excited... I still can't believe it's real!!! I haven't felt this good about myself & what the next 40 yrs hold in a long, long time!!! (Yup, I plan on living until I am at least 80!!!) Trust me it'll take a lot more than this to lose my sense of humor!! If I kept it through my 18 months from hell a few years back then this is nothing!! (I lost my mom, grandmother & father all within an 18 month period & then got hit with adult asthma that knocked me on my butt & out of work for 2 months!! This journey & all of it's loose skin is nothing!!) Life is wonderful so it's all good now!! Cece

I think I saw that person you lost.  Wasn't she  depressed looking, unhappy?  but wait, someone just covered up that lost person picture and this new person is smiling from ear to ear, confident, and just so happy and doing her dance!!!!    Congratulations!  Can't wait until I can say the same.  Keep up the good work.  You deserve something new!  Go ahead and get yourself something for being the new you!  Debbi

Debbi, Oh yeah - she was a sad miserable little person but she is gone for good!!! Buh-bye!!!!  I agree - I do deserve something new... hmmm, would could it be??? I am going to San Fransisco next month for a conference for work... maybe something nice to wear at the conference perhaps?!!! Sounds like a shopping trip is in order!!!! (and if I buy quality I can have it altered a bit to last a little longer... hmm!!) Don't worry - you'll be kicking the miserable little, uh, person to the curb soon too!!! Have fun in San Fran even though it is for business.  I'll bet shopping is much more enjoyable now that you can get something in a size that doesn't have a number AND a letter with it!!!!  Oh what the future will hold for me - can't wait!!!!  Debbi
