I wasn't a sodaholic but I did drink it often at work. I cut back a year ago for lent (even before I knew I was having the surgery) and the next thing I knew I hadn't touched it in months!! I gave it up altogether.  I don't know if there is anything that compares taste-wise but you will be able to have unsweetened iced tea (or sweetened with splenda) - decaf of course (I think they say we can have 2 or 3 regular teas or coffees a day I can't remember). You can also have crystal light. I am a huge water drinker & that is usally my drink of choice. I know these options aren't the same as soda but maybe you can find something that will satisfy you a bit. Good luck!! Cece

I was addicted to caffeine until 3 years ago. I gave it up cold turkey. I DO know what you are going through. Water...water.....water.... and maybe once in a while...try water flavored water seriously though, try crystal light, or some lemon-lime water. Oranges, etc. jazz it up.

I was a sodaholic pre surgery too...but I do like tea now...just makes my tummy hurt if I drink too much (same with coffee)...anywho...best of luck to you on your quest for liquid refreshment =)
