Can you reccomend a DR in Hudson Valley?

Hi, I have already had surgery, but my dad is looking into getting the Lap Band procedure for himself.  Does anyone have an doctor suggestions in the Lower Hudson Valley, i.e. Orange, Ulster, Dutchess counties. His doctor reccomended Tri-State Bariatrics Group. Has anyone had experience with them? Thanks!

Dr. Kwon at Tri-State does my post-op follow up. Because of complications, he couldn't do my surgery, but sent me to Dr. Ren (I have seen Dr. Kurian also). Dr. Ren consulted with Dr. Kwon both before and after my surgery, and I feel that I have received excellent care from Dr. Kwon and his staff. I use the Middletown office and the people in that office are great and they have a very large support group that meets in that office.

Thanks so much for the info. I didn't realize Dr. Kwon worked with Dr. Ren and Dr. Kurian -- that's great! Good to know you had a positive experience with Tri-State group. I appreciate the feedback!

Dr. Kwon did my surgery on 3/19/08.  He is awesome and so is his staff in Middletown and Bon Secours!  They are very nice and professional.  I would highly reccomend him to anyone that wants to get the lap band.   Good luck to you and your father!

Hello all ,  I have heard good things about Tri state also . I  was very happy with dr. Davis and the staff of Valley Hospital in Jersey . They are also affiliated with Presbyterian in NYC and Lawernce Hospital in Westchester .  They have offices in Middletown , right behind the fairgrounds and usually have the semiars once a month .  Can't go wrong with the choices in Orange County .
