I am back to work today 3/17/08
I just want all of you in upstate NY to know today was my forst day back to wotk....I am so very tired!!!! BUT I am glad that I went back...Everyone was flipping out in the change in myself...I knew that I had lost weight BUT I guess looking at yourself everyday you really do not notice how good you reallt look. I wore a brand new dress and WOW I really did loose alot of weight. THE DRESS WAS A SIZE 14!!!! It also was strech BUT still. I am sop glad that I did this even though I have had a week of nasuea and some throwing up!! I am trying to get in all tyhe calories that the dr wants me to get in BUT I am not doing a good job. 800 cal seems like alot. I am luck if I get 500. I am going to start drink the whey protien shakes because I need 60 grams and I am only getting about 30 from food. If anyone has any good things that I can eat 5 weeks out that will maybe be good for this let me know I really like to hear from people. Take care all Brigdit

Try foods like cottage cheese or ricotta cheese or refried beans w/cheese melted on it... they were good high protein choices for me. I also pureed tuna & added a little low fat mayo to moisten it. I ate a lot of softly scrambled eggs with cheese too. I got a container of Beneprotein pwder from my Dr & I was able to mix that into some things like sf pudding, applesauce, even mashed potatoes. It was the only protein powder I could handle... I still can't stomach the shakes!!
