Ken, Congratulations!! How exciting for you! April is right around the corner and the 25th will be here before you know it. Good luck getting your insurance approval. Hopefully you will get it quickly.  Keep us informed of your progress as the big day approaches. Can't wait to sit with you on the loser's bench! Hugs, Lisa

Me too, Ken.  Believe me, we all know how waiting for insurance can be.   Gosh,  will this flu ever leave New York, or the whole USA for that matter?

Aetna is jerking my chain, they normally take the info from the surgeon which clearly showed i was in their program for 6 months but now they want clinical notes as well and notes from my PCP. The waiting is bad enough but it is jamming me up trying to schedule everything. I have to wait for the approval before i can request the leave of absence from work and they want 2 weeks lead time, and i just found out they just yesterday faxed paperwork to my PCP so they wont even be submitting their paperwork till monday at the earliest

I will never understand why the insurance companies are committed to making this process so annoying........it doesn't make sense but hang in there and I'll keep praying for the both of us!! Be sure to post when you get that approval!!
