Pre-op apt??

DO YOU KNOW IF IT IS ABOSOLUTELY NESSCEARY TO HAVE UR SUPPORT PERSON GO WITH U ??? I KNOW ON MY SHEET I GOT THAT IT SAYS PLEASE BRING A FAMILY MEMBER OR SUPPORT PERSON WITH YOU THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT APT..... MY PROBLEM IS THAT MY GF CANNOT TAKE THAT DAY OFF SHE HAS TRAINING SHE HAS TO TEACH,SHES  A POLICE OFFICER, SO ITS NEEDED...AND MY MOM HAS TO WATCH MY KIDS, SO I HAVE TO GO ALONE OR RESCHEDULE EVERYTHING WHICH I SO DONT WANT. SO DID EVERYONE TAKE THERE SUPPORT PERSON OR GO ALONE??

My mom came with me to my appt. There were other people there and some were there alone.  Christine

WELL THEY MOVED MY PRE-OP DOC VISIT TO TOMORROW CUZ SHE CAN GO TOMORROW SO I GOTA BE THERE AT 4,,,,,BUT I STILL HAVE TO TRAVEL DOWN ON THE 11TH FOR MY PRE-ADMISSION TESTIN AT HOSPITAL...AND THEN AGAIN THE NEXT WEEK FOR SURGERY ..WOOHOO...... ITS  3 HR DRIVE FOR ME.. TO ELMIRA....PHEW!

I went alone. My brother brought me to the hospital for my surgery but I didn't think it was necessary for him to be there the day of the pre-op stuff... I filled him in with everything he needed to know. Cece

My husband was always working when I had my appointments, he never was able to go to any appointments with me.  I always went alone.

I took my best friend...but, she stayed in the waiting room while I dealt with all the tests, etc. Rosemary
