Dr. Brathwaite anyone?

Hi All.

I just moved back to LI, NY and wondering if anyone has heard either good or bad about Dr. Brathwaite (Smithtown, NY).  I was close to a surgery date upstate, but just had to move back last week and have an appt with him coming up.

If so, does anyone know his requirements for either rny/band.  I am however, going for the band.

I work at winthrop and Dr brathwaite just joined us from Patchauge. I went to his seminar and I am going through the pre op steps for the surgery. I heard nothing but great things about him and his staff is really nice. I am also going for the lapband. I know another person who is going to him as well and she is having surgery in March.

HI He is going to be my surgeon also.  I have completed all of my testing and am now waiting for insurance.  I personally have only heard wonderful things about him J

He was my surgeon, and I have to say everything went totally smoothly! I had my surgery on 6/6/06, and have hit my goal and have been maintaining. I had no problems with the surgery, and very little problems in my journey. You can email me too if you like!  I have nothing but GREAT things to say about him! Lil
