better days

I went in for laproscopic by-pass on Wed. and things didnt go as planned. I got started on that way but  a blood vessale got hit so that had to get sewn up then done openly. I went in at 8 in the morning and didnt get to recovery till 6 that night. I spent intire stay in ICU and got released today. I feel likeby a truck. Cant get rid of dry throat nausious and very stiff and sore where IV line was in. I dont know if thats normal or  because of problems but im ready to start feeling better

Donald, I am sorry to hear what happened, you will begin feeling better each day.   I am sure what you are feeling is normal and with each day it will get better, I am sure.  I am scheduled for Wednesday morning and there is supposed to be a huge snowstorm - is it ever easy?   I will just leave 1 hour earlier, its going to be fun driving, but I will make it! I sent you an email earlier wondering how things went, good to hear from you! Keep in touch...

I'm sorry you are having a tough time.  The recovery from and "open" is slower...but, it gets better every day.  Hang in there...drink your fluids...and try not to overdo...keep us updated. Rosemary

Day by day... life's a cinch..... :) Everyday will you feel a little better. There will be bumps in the road. Just know that tomorrow you'll be able to bend a little easier, sit up a little easier, rest a little more peacefully.... And soon, it'll all be but a memory... Here's to you
