plastic surgery

While I am still waiting for my date for my surgery, my friend is looking to find out about plastic surgeons in the area. So I was wondering if anyone can give some details about people they have used and how good they were. Also any idea on the cost as it will not be covered under her insurance. Thanks in advance

In a more general sense this is another step in our journey to recovery and doing a lot of researchis so beneficial! Self pay for which type of procedures? The cost of surgeonis one aspect the hospital is another!!! This is what ~I~ paid for my Lower Body Lift/Breast Augmentation…ALL SELF PAY, insurance didn’t PAY a cent! This was in June 2004 for MY SURGEON AND FOR MY BODY..that may alter fees a little! Anesthesia now is an hourly fee before it was a flat fee. My surgeon was Dr. Joshua King! I HIGHLY recommend him to all wlsers in area he is great and VERY experienced w/ post bariatric body contouring! surgeon fee: Lower Body Lift $5,000 Augmentation: $3,500 Implants themselves flat fee $1,250 -$400 multisurgery discount -10% cash payment or something like that? -$75 consult fee credited *if you have a procedure this is credited ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ $8,465 $2,890 Hospital fee for 2 nights stay/ or and preop testing at Albany Medical Center South Clinical Campus. $1,440 anesthesia fee 4-6 hrs in OR ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

total: $12,795 I did inner thigh lipo after as well cost a few grand can not remember exactly same day ina nd out at Albany Meds south clinical campus (also included surgeons fees)*note if you regain wt the lipo well the results do not last!
