WOW pantyhose moment
Hi all, I'm out here in LA again; off to Florida (6:30 am flight on Thurs) and last night I ventured out to Bloomies to buy tights. As I may have mentioned (LOL) I DESPISE shopping. But I knew I needed them, I put on the GPS, and out I went.
When in the store, bypassing the $850.00 purses, I got to the hose department and immediately looked for my size, Large or Q. Nooooooooooooooo, wrong size. Imagine my happy surprise when I found a really cute pair, checked the label, and I'm a S/M. then I checked again. Then I smiled a huge smile! (Luckily nobody was around.) I know I keep taking in my skirts, and my coats are absolutely swimming on me. I'm not buying any new clothes until spring *** 2 months?) because then I know WHEN, not if, I lose more weight, it will not be so much that I'll ruin the clothes by taking them in. I have had to buy some blouses & had a definate WOW moment when the Banana PETITE medium fit. (How nice of AMEX to send me a $100 gift certificate!) So, that's the bright spot of my week. My contract for this job is up end of May, as I've posted, and they're not renewing & I don't want them to. I hate it. The volunteer I "report" to out ihere s a young, rich, spoiled b**ch. UGGGGGGG, I just know she's going to complain about something, then I'm going to hear about it from my chairman. I'm starting to really worry--if I don't find a new job in the next 4 months, we're screwed! I hate people who manage to find fault, no matter what. Anyway, at least I had a really good WOW moment in the m iddle of a really crappy week, and I did manage to fit some whining in here. Sorry for that, I am grateful to have a job, sometimes my self-esteem really tanks in this one! Can't wait to come home on Sunday. hugs to you all,

Thanks, Cheri. I can't wait to be home...I'll even sit through the super-bowl w/my DH. Not that I don't like watching sports, because I do, it's just that he thinks he knows better than the coaches. When the Yankees play, 3 of us watch on 2 or 3 T.V.'s, and nobody watches with him! And trust me, you'll feel better when you give up the granny ankles!
That's great!! I haven't worn pantyhose in years!! It should be a fun experience when I get back to a size that works!! (note the sarcasm!!) Sorry about the stress at work!! I wish I had a cure for the a-holes we have to deal with in the workplace!!! I've got one that's a freakin' doozy!! UGH!!! Good Luck & have a safe trip back home!!!
