Accountability/Goal Setting

I haven't heard-seen in a few days an accountability post; was wondering if we could spice it up and add a goal to that for all. My food yesterday (going on recall which for a Morbidly obese person in only remission is not going to be accurate!) but confession is good for the sooul! B: 1 english muffin, 1 slice american cheese, 1 sausage patty, 1 egg fried, 2 tsp butter S: 1/2 bananna 1 kashi granola trailmix bar L: spring mix salad 3-4 cups with pea shoots, brocco sprouts, shredded carrot slices, cuke slices, 1 radish sliced, 1 pack 3 oz tuna in water on top, 3 T newmans light sesame ginger dressing, 1 pk cheese nips S: 1 package of PB crackers (8 pk) D: Out to eat at Weathervane restaurant: 2 bites coleslaw (ycuk) 1 dinner roll w/1 pat butter, 7-8 french fries and 3 pieces fried lobster dipped in generous amount of butter! No exercise (my back has been out again for 2 days since returning to the Gym sigh) Water 12 cups 20 oz decaf chai with 4 splenda and 1/4 cup half and half probably One can see why I am staying at this wt and not losing the regain (lol) way off the southbeach lifestyle. My Goal: This weekend to ask for what I need and accept others taking care of me (I.e. having hubby help with house cleaning etc) I am going for a massage Sunday at the Spa and Monday off to chiro so I can get back to working out! I feel so much better when I do! Thanks for listening!

Accountability is good for the soul, my friend! Good idea to ask for a goal. You may not be the perfect South Beach dieter, but you're on a good track!

Yesterday:
B: 1 ricecake with 2T pnb and 2 tsp sf preserves
S: celery stalk with light laughing cow cheese
L: leftover salmon, asparagus, and about 1c high protein pasta with marinara sauce
S: 1 sf nf pudding
D: steak with mashed potatoes, creamed spinach (bad dog!) and 3 glasses of red wine (bad, bad, dog!) I was out with friends and lost myself in the partyingness of it all.
S: Many handfuls of pretzels ( doggie, get your act together!)

Today I'm back on SB, burned 500+ calories on the treadmill, did 20 pushups and 40 sit ups, and already had about 5 c crystal light.

Goal: to stay on track tonight when I go out to dinner withy more friends--be modest, not dabauch...and to exercise again tomorrow.

Nice to just get back on track and not beat myself up when I go astray.

Goal:  Get in more veggies and fruit, also portion control is a biggie. Just because it's healthy, doesn't mean that it doesn't have mega calories. For some reason my mouth had to have something in it all day yesterday so I drank a lot. It was hard. I  am missing ciggies ( Hence, the useless ice pops.) Pathetic...but I will not go back to that filthy habit. NOPE! Thanks Jamie.

Hey Deb: Eating is never the issue (despite us focusing in it!) it is merly a symptom of our internal state! (emotions!) Be well Jamie
