Approved

Insurance gave approval yesterday and surgery is 2 weeks away, I had been so ansious for that to happen. Now that I know it is going to happen my anxiousness has turned to worry and a little fear.

I think what you are feeling is normal! I woke up in the middle of the night the othernight thinking OMG what have I done, then quickly realized I am doing something for ME and all the positive things, yes I am nervous and anxious but think where I will be in 6 months! A new beginning. You will be fine...

Donald, first of all congrats to you. I have not even been submitted yet but I can definitely understand the fear part of it now that it seems like a more realistic idea. But this is for you for the rest of your life. Once again, congrats

Completely normal!!!  I felt the same way.  I also felt the same way when we were trying so hard to have a baby and then we finally got a positive pregnancy test.  I know it's not the same but it's the same feeling....new adventure, new life .  Blessings to you!

Congrats hun and all those feelings are normal. I was a wreck once I knew for sure I got approved and had a date! Before hand getting the ok was the most important thing to me and once I had it I was a nervous wreck. A little fear is normal hun, this is a BIG change in our lives and it is very scary! Yaaay! This is what you've been waiting for. Take a deep breath and think about all the reasons that you wanted this surgery in the first place and make peace with your decision.  Of course you will experience these feelings, it is a big decision.  You will do just fine. Keep posting.
