Dr. Ward Dunnican - Albany Medical Center
I just had my upper endoscopy this morning with Dr. Ward Dunnican. The procedure was quick and painless, and over before I knew it. Dr. Dunnican had good bedside manner, explained the procedure to me (before I floated into la-la land) and made sure I was ok before I left the hospital. No pain, no discomfort, I don't even remember the procedure much at all. I checked out the Albany Med website about Dr. Dunnican. I do remember Dr. Singh telling me that Dr. Dunnican worked under him during his fellowship @ Albany Med. His specialties seem to be minimally invasive surgeries, gastroreflux disease, hernias, and gallbladder problems. He is fairly new to Albany Med but I am confident that because he worked under Dr. Singh's supervision, he is a good doctor. That is my opinion based on today's procedure. Hope things work out well for your friend. He/She may have been referred to Dr. Dunnican for gallbladder problem, or gastroreflux problems. You would have to ask your friend. Take care.
