Okay......Started full liquids this past Monday and that was fine, cream soups, icecream.  Easy to stick to.  But today and tommorow is clears only and it is tough.  Any creative ideas for clear fluids?  It is funny, no doubts now about the surgery like I was haveing a few weeks ago.  I am at peace with my decision.

My clear liquids day is Thursday.. My plan is for ... SF Jello, broth (homemade so it has good flavor).. Crystal light and before I go to bed.. a little raspberry sherbert.

{{{Mary}}} I've been thinking about you today and lo and behold here you post!!! Who's doing your anesthesia on Monday?? If you want to chat... PM me and I'll send you my phone #. As far as the clears....I actually went to the local chinese takeout and bought wonton soup...ditched the wontons and drank the broth...it tasted like HEAVEN!! Unfortunately jello is jello, SF popsickles are good and were a lifesaver for me. Anything else give me a shout out...after all that's what friends are for

I can't offer any suggestions because the only thing I drank was water!! Yup - that's it!! The broth I bought to drink made me gag - go figure!!! I didn't feel like having anything else anyway!! I just couldn't be bothered!!! I can say that the Friday before my surgery (my surgery was on a Monday too) I was absolutely angry & pissed off because I couldn't have anything for dinner... it was nothing but Medifast that day!!!! I laugh about it now but I was really mad... I apologized to my co-workers later on in case I was a miserable witch that day at work!!! I was also at peace with my decision the whole time!!! I never had second thoughts - not even the day of surgery!! Not once have I asked myself why I did this!!! I guess it was just the right time in my life & all of the right players were in line too!! Who knows but I did it & don't regret it at all!!! Good luck & I'll be thinking of you!!!!
