Weird feeling
For the last 24 -36 hours I have had this very mild, dull, intermitent pain on my lower left side (about and inch down and 3 inches over from my belly button. Would that be the area of my ovary? Has anyone else ever experienced this either pre or post op? It is not really painful, just a little uncomfortable and it isn't all the time, but when it happens it is enough to notice it. Just looking for some input I guess. I have an appt with an ob/gyn in Feb. Hoping it can wait until then. Sally
Hello, pain is usually a signal to take notice about, a way of our bodies telling us what is going on. The site of pain is not always the source, it is complex and more times than not referred pain is the issue: for instance radiating jaw and arm pain can signal cardiac origin! Wish we could assess and safely diagnose and treat you over the internet but we can not. For your safety and best interest we can recommend you seek medical attention for a assessment and further action if indicated. Sometimes a call to a providers office and speaking to a nurse can assist you in decision making. Waiting until February is an option but not one I would opt for. More immediate attention and not waiting has always been my motto for myself and patients. For instance this may be nothing or it could be something that if it waits until February is more challenging to treat etc. After WLS we shoould always be aware of potenital bowel issues such as obstructions etc. I am not saying this is the issue just FYI! Keep us imformed of your update!

I just wanted to post an update and thank everyone for their responses. The pain stopped as suddenly as it started. The day after the pain stopped I started to spot a little so I am thinking this all more of my "female problems" due to the uterine fibroid I have. I can't wait until I see the gyn in Feb and hopefully they will schedule the uterine ablasion quickly.
Believe me if the pain returns I will definitely call my doctore asap.
Thanks again
Sally
