how long

  I am having lap. RYN on Feb. 6 I know what the proceedure consist of but how long are you actuaay in surgery

WOOWOO!!  It's coming soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I didn't have RNY, but I bet it's safe to say we're all different.  My banding took about an hour for the actual surgery. 

I had the RNY surgery on Nov. 6. I was in surgery about 1 1/2 hours. That is about the average for my doctor. He tells you 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Congratulations on the date and good luck on the surgery. Christine

I had the lap RNY, too, and mine took 1 1/2 hours.  Blessings to you!
