Anyone going to Ellis Hospital's support group tomorrow?

Tomorrow night at 7 pm (in the auditorium) is Ellis Hospital's support group.... They meet the first Monday and third Wednesday of every month?  Are you going?

Please try.... it'll be good for all of us... And I need the support since as of tomorrow I'll be 9 days away from surgery..

I'm going!!  Anne said it is mostly going to be geared toward "long timers" but I hope to be one some day so I am going.....besides it gives a chance to meet some of the winners in my book!!  Ink???  You need a ride or something?  Let me know. Joanie

I'll be there for sure.. My FIL has been in ICU at Ellis since Friday so I'll probably go a little early, stop in to see him and then go to the meeting... Jeanine will also be there. Her surgery was in November so I can't wait to see how awesome she looks in person..

Albany Med has WLS support groups as well.  There is a general WLS support group (for the lap band & RNY) and anyone considering either surgery, welcome to attend, open to the public, will be held 1/24/08 Thursday, from 5:30pm to 7;30pm in the A-1 Clinic Waiting Area. For more info, call the Bartiatric Surgeon's office 262-0942 for more info on monthly meetings.  There is also an information line to find out times and dates of upcoming weight loss surgery support groups, the # is 262-2195.
