Thanks, actually many surgeons who are not sponserers have old forums (such as Lirio, Singh, Rosati) you just have to have saved the link to find it! :-) Not sure Dr. Clarke maynot as he may of come after OH switched many things over a while back! Joanie, I have a surgery date of Feb 6th with Dr. Singh. I also am seeking support groups/friends in this area going through the same. I work here in schenectady, but live 30-40 mins. west of here. Do you have the details on the Ellis hosiptal group? I'd love to get to a meeting after work. Thank you so much.

Hi I see you live in Saratoga. I am in Ballston Spa. When is your surgery date? Do you go to the support groups at Ellis. Where is your surgery Albany Med or Ellis? Hope to keep in touch.

My surgery is Feb. 27th. Had to go yesterday for the ultra sound and uper GI. I have tossed and turned about the whole thing for quite awhile but I now believe it is the right thing for me to do.
I went to Ellis for last months meeting and will probably go this month. I found a support group at Saratoga Hospital that I would rather go to because it is closer. It meets once a month also and has a yahoo forum.
wow! good for you haveing a date already! im still loosing my 10% i was doing so well before the holiday**** and well to say the least things slowed down. let me know when the next a Saratoga meeting is i would love to go.
i think we all toss it around i have enve founf my self lately saying "you can do it your self" i know i cant but aparently we all need to go thorugh that to be really ok with our choices!
