It says Blue EPO  not excellus. I'm not really sure because there are so many diff. policies for BCBS. Thanks

I didn't have BCBS EPO when I had the gastric bypass surgery but I have it now.  You have to make sure your doctor and hospital are within network or no coverage.  Also, I'd suggest calling the number on the back of your card and speaking with someone directly about the terms of your particular policy.  Different employers negotiated different terms with the insurance companies even though the plans are grouped under one name.

Good luck.

Thanks, Renee.    I called and said there was no waiting period. I also checked on my sleep apnea coverage & psych evaluation.
