2 DAys till surgery!

Two more days till my surgery.  The hospital called me today and informed me that I have to be at the hospital by 6AM monday morning.  The closer it gets, the worse my sleep is.  I am tossing and turning all night.  I have this intense fear that I will be the one person who is not successful with this surgery!

I know your pain- I go ont he 10th and my eyes were wide open at 3am- panic mode has set in

I'd tell you not to worry but it is natural & almost everyone goes through the same anxiety!!! You both will be fine & you are doing this for all the right reasons!!!!  Keep those reasons in mind & you'll be just fine!!!  It's funny - I wasn't nervous at all... I believe I knew it was the right thing to do at this time in my life so I was really pretty calm about it!! I also felt like my mom was watching over me & that she'd never let anything happen... I did this so I would be around a lot longer than she was!!! I wanted to live life again not just go through the motions! Good luck!!! Congrats on making it this far... this is the hardest part!! ...well, at least I thought so!!!

I understand your worry...it is completely normal.  Just try to keep the eye on the prize.  I won't lie to you...the first few weeks after surgery are rough...but, it is so worth it.  Good Luck! Rosemary

Thank you, I must admit, I am not as nervous today as I have been feeling over the surgery.  But, I do just want to get it over with already!  The waiting is frustrating!
