Got my surgery date!!!
Will be having Lap Band on 2/4/2008 with Dr. Kurian....am very excited, scared, nervous....all the feelings in one. I'll be celebrating my 33rd birthday on the liquid diet and I can't think of a better way to spend it.
Any advice on pre-surgery and post-surgery Lap Band advice welcome! If you've done Lap Band, how much weight have you lost and in what amount of time? If the surgery isn't working for you - then why not? What challenges are you facing?
I've prepped my kitchen this weekend - all the junk is gone, got a hand blender and juicer and now need to get some vitamins.

I had the RNY so I can not offer anything about the band but I know there are so many Bansters around this board so I am sure you will get the info you are requesting.
Your feelings are normal, this is a BIG change in our lives and so worth it for sure! What a roller coaster ride of emotions but an awesome one at the same time.
