I hope that everyone had an enjoyable and blessed Christmas.    Did you get what you wished for?  I had resigned myself early on that I was going to have to work on Christmas day (usually the shifts are given by seniority) but my boss gave me the day off because I had put in my request months before the other person requesting the day off.    That was probably the best gift I could recieve.  I got to spend the day with my family which was very special because as I posted a few months back my brother in law has only been given a few months to live.  I am sure this will be his last Christmas with us so I cherished every single moment of it.     My sister is being such a rock through this whole thing.   She is scheduled to have her WLS on January 14th.   She is so excited, but at the same time is saddened that her husband won't get to see her when she is thin.   I keep telling her that he will know and will be smiling down upon her and will be so glad to see her healthy.    So my Christmas was very bitter sweet in many ways, but so blessed to be able to spend time with the ones who mean the most to me.   No matter what, God is always good and faithful.

Sal, that's what it's all about!  How wonderful you were able to have the day off and that time with your family.  I was equally as blessed to share the time with my family!  Prayers are with your sis and her hubba bubba!
