Good Morning and Happy Saturday to all!

What's the weekend got in store for you?  Shopping?  It's great exercise!  Remember to have some water with you, the malls are quite warm.  We have to take care of ourselves!   Me, I will be making CHRISTMAS COOKIES this weekend and a big pot of chili for the family waiting for the snow storm (LOL). 

Yesterday was our agency luncheon.  NO ONE MADE MEATBALLS!  What's this world coming to when you go to a bring-a-dish-to-pass luncheon and there aren't any meatballs?  lol  Well, I had 3 chicken wings done in a crock pot, not deep fried.  They were pretty tasty!  I had the same co-worker who took a photo of me last year, take one this year.  I've posted it with my other pics.  Goodness!  That was me?!  I don't recognize me in the photo of last year! 

I want to take this time to repeat how blessed I am to have been able to have my lap band surgery and to have found all of you who support me everyday (even causing my head to swell at times!).  I do have my life back!  That is the best present I could have been given this year!

Good Morning!! My Saturday is full of nothing but getting ready for tomorrow's big flippin' storm!! We are still cleaning up after Thursday's so this should be fun!!! The apartment complex I live in is doing a much better job than last year so I give them a ton of credit for listening to our complaints!!! Actually, I have a family open house to go to & my sis is driving up from Boston (against my advice) to go with me & also to a party her friends are having!! I have a strange feeling she will either be leaving early tomorrow (if that's possible) or not until Monday!!! We had our office luncheon Thursday & we did have meatballs so alls not totally wrong with the world up here!! LOL I made a greek style pasta salad that was apparently a huge hit!! I knew I wouldn't be able to eat the pasta but it was full of veggies & feta & an olive oil based dressing so I could do that!! A coworker made an awesome Italian chicken dish that he has to give me the recipe for - it is very WLS friendly!!!  I know how you feel about the pics... I found one from our family reunion this past June & I was completely horrified that THAT was me!!! YUCK!!! These folks I am seeing tonight haven't seen me since then so it should be a hoot!!! I still can't believe the changes I am going through!! It has been a miracle so far (87lbs gone) & I can't wait for my bday this July to see where this takes me!!! I still can't believe I found the strength to do this!! You all have helped me through this & helped make my decision process easier & for that I feel very grateful!! Thank you all soooo much!!! Busy weekend. Shopping in the morning. Then I iced the cookies (did all the baking during the week) and tonight we are going to a friend's home for a holiday get together. Tomorrow my family is coming over for an early Christmas celebration.

Well, I didn't do cookies, so I'll be baking all this coming weekend!  LOL  and I took tomorrow off to finish my shopping! I might be coming down the 30th, not sure because I can't bring my dog and can't leave her home.  I'll keep ya posted! xo

Saw your photo .. you must be so proud of yourself!!  I hope that I can look at myself in a year and see similiar results... GOOD FOR YOU.  Hope you enjoyed your Saturday, but it's Sunday and the games on. .. Then maybe some shopping .. believe it or not .. I haven't even started (I like to think of it as pacing myself!!)
