150's, here I am again
For the 1st time since my lapband was operational, I'm back in the 150's.
I'm frustrated because I COULD have lost the same amount of weight in the same amount of time without the surgery, BUT, I WOULDN'T HAVE. That's the difference.
When I went into tickerfactory.com just now, I saw that I weighed 169 on 10/20. So that's 6 weeks to lose 10 lbs. Very slow, but...
I fit into a 10P suit. My winter coat looks like I could fit another person in it. People compliment my appearance all the time. And even though I'm a slow loser, my hair is still falling out! LOL
I think that mentally, since I did get down this far 2.5 years ago w/the band, when I get into the 140's, that will really blow my mind. I haven't weighed less than 150 since I got pregnant with my daughter, 20 years ago! That's my mini-goal--149! I hope it doesn't take another 6 weeks, but if it does, so be it.
hugs,
Karen,
I am so excited for you!!! What an accomplishment to weigh what you did 20 years ago!!
Congratulations on the excellent weight loss! I know it gets frustrating when it takes a long time, but at least it is coming off!!
Keep up the great work and the positive attitude! Happy Hanukkah!!
Hugs,
Lisa

I can't because I'll be away for business and am quite bummed about it! When's that meeting in Selden (or wherever it is out your way...way out your way!) I miss you guys so much.
I forgot to mention that I was very brave yesterday...i colored my hair! It's slightly darker, richer, NO GREY. Hopefully the color will make it thicker and the thinning less noticeable.
Happy Chanukah to you too! No jelly donuts for me this year, but ONE potato latke, yes!
hugs,
