Has anyone tried any of Suzanne Somers' "SomerSweet" products? I just saw her on HSN & checked out her website for nutritional info but before I invest in anything (like BBQ sauce) I wanted to see if anyone out here has tired them!! Here's the link for her stuff...  http://www.suzannesomers.com/Products/ Thanks!!! Cece

I've used them from time to time over the past several years.  I liked the BBQ sauce, ketchup and the mexican seasonings.  The deserts are also good, but the brownies and such call for cream and butter, so not for WLS people!  The SomerSweet sweetener also tastes good, but if you don't use a lot, it tends to harden in the container after a while, and then it's useless.   I also think that she may occasionally change suppliers, because I've found that items that I reordered did not seem to be the same the second time around. Thanks Ann!! I noticed that about her desserts too but that's ok I wasn't going to order them... I was moe interested in the BBQ sauces & such. I know I could make my own & eventually I'll try but I stumbled across this & was curious!! Maybe after the holidays I'll give them a try!!  Cece

Actually, she has published recipes for barbeque sauce and also ketchup made without sweetener.  I don't remember the title of the specific cookbook, but it features quick recipes.  Maybe you can find it in your local library, rather than buying the whole book.  It's probably less pricey to make your own than to buy from the website.  Good luck.
