5. Please share an easy highprotein/low sugar recipe. If pistachio fluff sounds exciting to you try this...2 boxes of sf pistachio instant pudding mix, 1 can of crushed pineapple in its own juice undrained, 1 tub of sf cool whip, mix together and let set overnight, stir before serving.  *Fun bonus question:

What is your favorite season and why? I love the spring because I can sit on my porch swing outside without feeling too cold or hot.  I also love to see the flowers begin to grow.

I love these things!!!!  1. What types of food did you eat this week?  I had all of the usual... cottage cheese & peaches, turkey (lots of leftovers!! I finally put the rest in the freezer!!), devilled eggs, baked sweet potato, homemade chili, peanut butter mixed with s/f cool whip (don't ask... I was looking for something sorta sweet & just started mixing a spoon of each together & voila... peanut butter fluff... it was good!!! 2. What types of exercise did you do this week? The only thing I have been allowed to do is walk so that's what I did!! I got clearance Friday to do more & start working out... I can't wait!! 3. How much weight did you lose? Total loss?  I am down a total 82.4lbs since the end of July!!! Who the heck would've thought I'd ever lose that amount?!!! I even got into another size smaller jeans... that's 3 or 4 sizes since I started!!!

4. What was your biggest challenge?  Resisting moving around some boxes & a bookcase at home!! I was not supposed to be moving anything more than 10lbs!! UGH!!! I got my clearance to go ahead this past Friday & I spent yesterday doing just that!!! My apt is starting to look really good!!!

5. Please share an easy highprotein/low sugar recipe. I found a couple of Pillsbury cookbooks I had that have some awesome light & low fat recipes... this is one of my favs: Cod Veracruz 1 tsp Olive Oil 1lb cod fillets 3 medium roma tomatoes, chopped 2 medium (1 cup) onions, coarsley chopped 1 tsp dried organo 1/4 tsp chilli powder 1/4 tsp cumin 1/4 tsp coarsly ground black pepper 1/8 tsp salt 1 tsp finely chopped fresh garlic 1 tbs fresh lime juice 1 tsp grated lime peel Brush 10-inch nonstick skillet with oil, add fish fillets. Cook over medium heat, turning once, until fish flakes with a fork (4-6 minutes). Remove fillets with slotted spoon to serving platter; keep warm. To the same skillet add all remaiing ingredients except the lime peel. Cook over medium heat, stirring often, until all veggies are tender (4-5 minutes). Place veggie mixture on top of fish; sprinkle with lime peel.  Yield: 4 servings (for non-WLS folks anyway!!) Nutritional Info: (1 non-wls serving) Calories 160; Protein 27g; Carbs 7g; Fat 2g; Sodium 160mg. It didn't have sugars listed but I would imagine it's minimal at best!! *Fun bonus question:

What is your favorite season and why?  I'd say Autumn. There is something about the smell of the air... the leaves changing... it was always magical to me!!  Cece
