Hello, I am.new to this but I am wondering if anyone knows how long it takes for affinity to approve for bariatric surgery? What is the percentage of approval verses not approving someone? I'm nervous and I am hoping they take me. My surgeon is dr Edward Yatcho.  I have done all the necessary steps now I am awaiting approval?

I known a few people who had this surgery done throu th medicaid just never bother to ask any information bcus i dnt need it.  But I herd of this one person who mention having it done at in Teaneck NJ at Holy Name Medical Center.  When calling ask to b transfer to the Bariatric department.   I believe Hackensack Medical Center practice the same. I got this info from hearing n seeing so many ppl getting the surgery done n the results bn amazingly impressive.  Anyone who has Medicaid n is in need of this procedure should take advantage of the insurance before it gets stopped by the government, it's growing at an alarming number the amount of ppl on medicaid who is getting it done. Anyone can try by calling8 the hospitals in ur state directlyGood luck to
