Heprin shots

Did anyone have trouble with the sites of your Heprin shots? My Dr. had me take them in the hospital and I still have a lump and bruising on my tummy where they were given. Ouch!!

OMG - so that's why I had that bruise for a couple of weeks after I got home - I couldn't figure out what I banged into & didn't even put 2 & 2 together!!!! Come to think of it I still have a lump there too!!! I go to the surgeon's for my 5 week follow up so I am going to ask about it!!! I figured the lump was like the one I have on the other side... some fat thing (not the technical term but all I remember the dr saying it was!!)!! Thanks for asking about it... I'll let you know what the dr says if no one comes up with an answer before then!!! Cece

I was lumpy and bruised for a good 3 months (no exaggeration!!) I also had strange electrical feelings in the sites where the bruising was. It's all so worth it now!!! Hugs, Karen

you can still see where my shots were .. I am almost 13 months post op!

Oh thank Goodness!! I was getting worried!! I also have those strange pinching pains like an electrical shock where my tummy is still healing. I see my Dr on Thursday so I will bring it to his attention.  It sounds like it's just the feelings of my body healing. Thank you for the input!! Sky

yes...my tummy was spotted red for quite a while after surgery.  You can still see the needle marks...so, don't worry. Rosemary
